　　2023年3月15日，習(xí)近平主席出席中國共產(chǎn)黨與世界政黨高層對話會并發(fā)表題為《攜手同行現(xiàn)代化之路》的主旨講話，首次提出“全球文明倡議”。

　　On March 15, 2023, President Xi Jinping delivered a keynote address at the CPC in Dialogue with World Political Parties High-level Meeting. Titled “Join Hands on the Path Towards Modernization,” the address first mentioned the Global Civilization Initiative. 

　　該倡議以“四個(gè)共同倡導(dǎo)”為主要內(nèi)容，即“共同倡導(dǎo)尊重世界文明多樣性”“共同倡導(dǎo)弘揚(yáng)全人類共同價(jià)值”“共同倡導(dǎo)重視文明傳承和創(chuàng)新”“共同倡導(dǎo)加強(qiáng)國際人文交流合作”。

　　The initiative advocates the respect for the diversity of civilizations, the common values of humanity, the importance of inheritance and innovation of civilizations, and robust international people-to-people exchanges and cooperation.

　　2024年6月，第78屆聯(lián)合國大會協(xié)商一致通過中國提出的設(shè)立“文明對話國際日”決議，將6月10日設(shè)立為“文明對話國際日”。

　　In June 2024, the 78th UN General Assembly unanimously adopted a China-proposed resolution to designate June 10 as the "International Day for Dialogue among Civilizations."

　　設(shè)立“文明對話國際日”的決議是以中國提出的全球文明倡議“四個(gè)共同倡導(dǎo)”核心要義為主線。

　　The resolution aligns with the principles of the "four points" advocated by the Global Civilization Initiative.  

　　決議強(qiáng)調(diào)，文明對話對于維護(hù)世界和平、促進(jìn)共同發(fā)展、增進(jìn)人類福祉、實(shí)現(xiàn)共同進(jìn)步具有重要作用，應(yīng)倡導(dǎo)不同文明間的平等對話和相互尊重。

　　The resolution emphasizes that dialogue among civilizations plays a crucial role in maintaining world peace, promoting common development, enhancing human well-being, and achieving shared progress. It calls for equal dialogue and mutual respect among different civilizations. 

　　應(yīng)對共同挑戰(zhàn)、邁向美好未來，既需要經(jīng)濟(jì)科技力量，也需要文化文明力量。

　　To address common challenges and advance toward a better future, we need economic and technological strength, as well as the power of culture and civilization.

　　On June 10, 2025, the world celebrated the first-ever International Day for Civilizations Dialogue with vibrant events:

　　在紐約聯(lián)合國總部，以“推動文明交流互鑒 加強(qiáng)國際團(tuán)結(jié)合作”為主題的對話會吸引多國代表積極參與；

　　At UN Headquarters in New York, a forum themed "enhancing inter-civilization exchanges for global solidarity" drew active participation from diplomats worldwide.

　　在丹麥，“對話·知音”講座音樂會以音樂為紐帶，詮釋“美美與共”的共同價(jià)值；

　　In Denmark, the "dialogue through music" concert bridged cultural gas, embodying the spirit of "harmony in diversity."

　　在泰國，“和合文明論壇”旨在通過多元文明的深度對話與思想碰撞，凝聚起應(yīng)對時(shí)代挑戰(zhàn)的廣泛共識；

　　In Thailand, the 2025 "Hehe Civilization Forum" fostered consensus on tackling shared challenges through cross-cultural dialogue.

　　在毛里求斯，“茶和天下·文明對話雅集”活動展現(xiàn)茶在促進(jìn)東西方文明交流、理解和互鑒方面扮演的重要角色；

　　In Mauritius, the "Tea for Harmony" salon showcased tea's historic role in connecting Eastern and Western civilizations.

　　從上合組織、金磚國家文明對話，到中拉文明對話、中非文明對話等，人們看到“文明對話國際日”的設(shè)立，不是簡單地賦予某一個(gè)日子獨(dú)特的意義，更在于將推動不同文明對話交流機(jī)制化、常態(tài)化。這是全球文明倡議送給世界的又一份禮物。

　　From the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and BRICS civilizations dialogues to China-Latin America and China-Africa civilizations exchanges, the establishment of the "International Day for Dialogue among Civilizations" goes beyond merely assigning special significance to a particular date. More importantly, it institutionalizes and regularizes exchanges and dialogue among different civilizations. This represents yet another gift from the Global Civilization Initiative to the world.
